Bristol Explorers Drinks – Thursday 14th January
At 8pm Holly Budge will give us an informal talk on how she faced her fears over Everest and made a business out of her passion for skydiving.
And at 7pm there will be a Talisker single malt whiskey tasting kindly offered by the Square. There will be a collection box for anyone who wants to make a small donation to Survival International for these great new year treats.
Congratulations to Bristol Explorers Mel and Annie who have finally left La Gomera after weeks of waiting for the weather. They have just sent their first blog from their rowing boat ‘Explore’ in the Atlantic.
Don’t forget to check out the Members section of the Bristol Explorers website for new West Country and international jobs listings. More will be added over the next couple of weeks. If you want to advertise a job, internship or for team members just drop us a line, its absolutely free!
The Xmas Drinks evening was another great night with lots of new faces, ideas swapped and plans made. So look forward to seeing you on the 14th January downstairs at the Square.

Looking forward to seeing you tonight.
Unfortunately, Holly is stuck in Chamonix due to a back log of cancelled flights so she cannot speak at this evenings event.
However we do have good news…
Dan Start, author of ‘Wild Swimming’, is going to talk instead at 8pm about the 10 Most Exciting Wild Swims in the UK & France.
And of course there will be the usual mix of explorers, climbers, sailors, ocean rowers, kitesurfers, balloonists, kayakers, skydivers etc. in the Square (open until the early hours).
See you there for free drink and a spot of whiskey tasting to warm us up!
