Annie and Mel Leave Bristol To Cross The Atlantic

Bristol Explorers, Annie and Mel will be launching their boat from La Gomera in the Canary Islands and setting their sights on English Harbour, Antigua, 3,000 miles away across the Atlantic ocean.

Tomorrow they leave Bristol for the startline.

Bristol Explorers wishes them the best of luck. Mel sent BE this message:

”We’re so excited to have finally made it to race start! We’d like to thank all of you who have encouraged us to carry on fighting for our dream. Our boat, Explore is currently being towed down to La Gomera, Canary Islands. Then, on 6th December, we set off for Antigua.”
