Ken Hames, Expedition Leader

A well known television presenter and expedition leader, Ken is one of the very few British Officers to have worn the red beret of the parachute brigade, the green beret of the Royal Marines and the sand beret of the SAS.

Ken is passionate about giving ordinary people the opportunity to do extraordinary things. As expedition leader on BBC 2’s “Beyond Boundaries” series of documentaries he has led teams of people with disabilities across Nicaragua as well as into Namibia and Ecuador.

Ken is also co-director of local training company Farscape Development, who specialise in combining expeditions with personal and professional development.
