Boating Officer – Antarctica

The British Antarctic Survey (BAS), part of the Natural Environment Research Council, aims to undertake a world-class programme of scientific research, and to sustain for the UK an active and influential regional presence and a leadership role in Antarctic affairs. Our Operations Team are now looking to recruit a Boating Officer to manage, operate and maintain the small boats used in support of the Rothera diving and scientific research programme. This role is based in Antarctica.

Qualifications: RYA Powerboat Level 2 RYA Powerboat Instructor Level 2 Duration: 18 months

Salary: From £23,700 per annum pro-rata
