Douglas Hoddinott, Hot Air Balloon Pilot

Douglas Hoddinott is a 22 year old Hot air Balloon pilot based in Bristol. Doug has been involved in Ballooning since the age of 4 and has been flying all over europe in some of the most breathtaking locations including the Loire Valley in France, Ireland, Spain and the UK.

In July 2009 Doug was part of a world record line up of hot air balloons 329 in total taking off in a 2km line up in France and is a regular pilot at the world famous Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, his home event.

Doug spends his time when not flying trying to promote the sport of ballooning by getting more people, companies and media involved in the sport and always looks to try something new involving a balloon.
