Hello all – new member introducing himself. I’ve just signed up on Bristol Explorers after meeting a wonderful woman last month on a train to the south west.  That supposedly two-hour journey felt as though it passed in minutes and one of the great outcomes of it was discovering this group!

Some years ago I had an accident whilst serving with the Army in Germany, leaving me dependent upon crutches.  A year or two later I enquired about a series called Beyond Boundaries, run on behalf of the BBC by, I believe, Diverse, in Bristol.  That wonderful programme seems now to have faded away, unfortunately!

Life now is one great travelling experience and I’m keen to move more into the adventuring and exploring side of life.  Expeditions to Svalbard and Antarctica are currently being looked into.  Motorbiking from Alaska to Argentina too.  Maybe some mine clearance work in Somalialand one day.

Keen to meet more people passionate about this wonderful world and how we live our life as fully in it as possible.
