Bristol Explorers was established in 2009 by Expedition Manager, Belinda Kirk

Belinda has been on 12 major international expeditions in the last 15years. The smallest expedition she’s set up was a group of four to China’s Desert of Death, and the largest was leading a team of over one hundred to the Amazon – patroned by HRH Duke of York. She has also sat on the Jungle Panel at RGS’s “Explore” and in 2002 she became the youngest ever Chief Leader of a BSES Expedition. In TV and film she has worked on series such as ‘Ray Mears Bushcraft’, ‘SAS Are You Tough Enough’, ‘Hunting Chris Ryan’, ‘Coast’, ‘Monsters We Met’, ‘Living With Gorillas’ and ‘Beyond Boundaries I & II’ establishing complex logistics and managing small or large crews in remote and hazardous environments.

Belinda is always interested in establishing, joining, filming and generally assisting expeditions. She is keen to promote young explorers and expeditions that can make the world a better place.

She is currently managing a number of expeditions for other explorers plus one of her own – The Sea Gals
